2024-01-28: Adopt A Mile

We had our first successful #KeepCobbBeautiful Adopt A Mile over the weekend! It may have been a little chilly, but sometimes the job still has to get done. Thanks everyone who came out. We didn’t collect that many bags of garbage this time, but that’s actually a good thing because it means that thanks to our efforts, the road is staying cleaner and cleaner!

Thanks everyone who came out to our #KeepCobbBeaturif Adopt-A-Mile yesterday! The weather was just about perfect and you helped collect a ton of trash and kept it out of entering the storm water system, nice work!

2023-03: Adopt-A-Mile

We had our first Keep Cobb Beautiful Adopt A Mile of the year yesterday, the sun may have been shining, but the blowing wind made this a chilly one. Still, thanks to everyone who came out to help, we were able to get 7+ bags of trash off the streets and properly disposed. Adopt A Miles are always a lot of fun and a great way to give back to the community.

Adopt A Mile

We help our second Adopt A Mile yesterday as part of the #KeepCobbBeautiful program. It was a little drizzly and wet, but we still had plenty of helpers show up. All together we were able to collect 14 bags of trash as well as a few odds and ends. Definitely was a success and we even had some time to collect some trash around Addison Elementary! Thank you to all who volunteered to help! Full Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XF2yUBYJ6GqBYBmeA

Troop 2319 scouts adopted a mile in front of Addison Elementary School as part of the Keep Cobb Beautiful program. We collected nine big bags of trash and spoke to some locals who thanked us for helping clean up the community. We also were pleasantly surprised that Cobb County was able to install signs with Troop 2319 listed on them at each end or our mile already. Thank you to everyone who participated, both parents and scouts! — Jude K. Troop Historian Full Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/od2sSxVP488kDdZV6
