We help our second Adopt A Mile yesterday as part of the #KeepCobbBeautiful program. It was a little drizzly and wet, but we still had plenty of helpers show up. All together we were able to collect 14 bags of trash as well as a few odds and ends. Definitely was a success and we even had some time to collect some trash around Addison Elementary! Thank you to all who volunteered to help! Full Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XF2yUBYJ6GqBYBmeA

Wow, it has been tough keeping up with all the things happening in Troop 2319 lately, if you’re like me and need a recap, Cameron D. lead his fellow scouts in executing his Eagle Project the weekend before last. The goal was to build six additional benches for Unity North Atlanta and it looks like Cameron did a fantastic job leading is fellow scouts to accomplish his goal. But don’t take my word for it, click the image below to see the full album of photos form the project!
An excited group of AOL Scouts from Pack 710 crossed over into Troop 2319 today. Congratulations on your transition from Cub Scouts into a Scouts BSA Troop. Welcome to the troop, we’re so happy to be part of our journey on the long trail to Eagle and can’t wait to get camping with you guys in the troop! More pictures to come, but just want to show a few quick picks of the great work Jeremy A. did leading is volunteers in revitalizing the Fire Pit at Unit North Atlanta. Way to go Jeremy, it looks great! #ScoutingContinues
Troop 2319!!! Once again our Troop has earned the Gold Level for the annual Journey to Excellence for the BSA. Many thanks to all the hard work and dedication from Scouts & Scouters alike to put together our great program. In this crazy year our Troop did not miss a beat and as we said all year, Scouting Continues. Our 2020 JTE Gold Rockers are in! And we will send out information in the next few weeks on how we will be distributing the JTE Rockers.
I’d like to present OA Kennesaw’s newest Vigil Honor recipients, Rudi Shumpert (T2319) & Robert Carlin (T2319)! They completed their Vigil Honor Induction this past weekend. Less than 2% of arrowmen are selected to receive the Vigil Honor each year. Please help me in congratulating them both on this amazing honor!
We had a few questions about the JTE patches from the Court of Honor Last night. The Troop committee (a while back) decided that instead of getting the yearly JTE patches that have to be replaced each year that we would go with a custom troop JTE patch. Each year “rocker” will be in the stitching color of the level we earned ( All gold we hope!) The founding members received their round patch & 2018, 2019 rockers. the 2019 cross overs received their round patch and 2019 rocker. The first year scouts will receive their round patch at the December CoH & 2020 Rocker which based on our record will also be gold! These go on the right sleeve of your uniform under the patrol patch. Leave enough room for the rockers to go all the way around.
