Eagle COH: Charlie A.

Congratulations Charlie A.! Although you passed your Board of Review and officially became an Eagle Scout a couple months ago, it was great that we were able to properly congratulate you at your Eagle Court of Honor this past weekend. You worked hard to complete your trail and have come a long way from the scout you crossed over as. You’ve held multiple leadership positions, worked on numerous Merit Badges and Religious Emblems, and planned and executed an Eagle Project as a final demonstration of your leadership skills. Congratulations again on completing your trail to eagle and thank you for letting Troop 2319 be a part of your journey. Well done! Court of Honor

March ’21 COH

Well the rain may have made us make some adjustments to hold our March COH online instead out in person outdoors, but it still turned out to be a great night! In the past 6 months, despite the ongoing pandemic, the scouts of Troop 2319 earned 20 of the 137 different merit badges available and handed out 39 merit badges at the patch pick the following day. Perhaps even more impressive, over the same period, 13 new ranks were earned and award with many more to come! We’re heading into one of the busiest parts of the scouting year (Spring/Summer) and will surely have much more to award at our next COH, especially considering that 3 scouts have recently completed their Eagle Projects with 2 more scheduled in the coming weeks. We didn’t take a ton of photos (unusual for us), but we do have a  few from the patch pickup night. Check them out below. (Click the collage to see the full album)

What an amazing socially distant Court of Honor! Even with limited in person meetings and very few outings or troop activities, Troop 2319 Scouts haven’t stopped continuing their Trail to Eagle. We had 50+ merit badges to hand out, dozens of new rank advancements, and several first year scouts were awarded their upgraded troop neckerchiefs. We also got our new custom JTE Patches and they look amazing! Can’t wait to add the next JTE Rocker for 2020. A special thank you to Joe W. for helping secure and run the sound system to make sure everyone could hear. (Click the collage below to see the full album)

What a great Court of Honor with Troop 2319. The scouts have accomplished so much over the past 3 months, it’s truly incredible. We awarded 153 merit badges and 27 ranks. That’s quite a lot for only the past three months! We also had the privileged of awarding Scorpio his first three palms, Nick his fifth palm, and Avery his fourteenth and fifteenth palms! Thank you to all our all our leaders who help keep the troop running and congratulations to all the scouts again.  We ended our Court of Honor with the tradition of passing off the Troop flag from our previous SPL to our new one, Jay Wasser. We welcome Jay and are excited for him to start his role as our next SPL.
