Thank you Cobb County Commissioners for inviting Troop 2319’s recent Eagle Scouts to your monthly meeting this week to recognize their great accomplishments. Becoming an Eagle Scout is one of the highest honors a scout can earn. It was so great to see them being recognized for that accomplishment. What an awesome experience they will remember for years to come!
We’ve got more new scouts! Pack 1714 held their Crossover a few days ago at Mt. View Elementary where several of their Arrow of Light scouts transitioned from their Cub Pack to our Scout Troop. We are so excited to be part of their journey on their Trail to Eagle. Be sure to stop by and introduce yourself when you see them at their first troop meeting tonight! Shout out and thank you to JoAnne Birrell for taking the time to come to our troop meeting last night! We really appreciate you speaking with our scouts about Cobb County Government’s organization, the role of Commissioner in Cobb County government and how Scouts can get involved. We especially appreciate you taking the time be interviewed by so many scouts after your talk.
Thanks Pack 1714 for bringing your AOL Scouts for a troop visit on Monday! We had a ton fun getting to know about about them and racing in a tent setup challenge.
With the August COH also came the transfer of leadership. Congratulations and good luck to our new SPL, Michael C. & his two ASPLs Xan M. & Mason C. We help our second Adopt A Mile yesterday as part of the #KeepCobbBeautiful program. It was a little drizzly and wet, but we still had plenty of helpers show up. All together we were able to collect 14 bags of trash as well as a few odds and ends. Definitely was a success and we even had some time to collect some trash around Addison Elementary! Thank you to all who volunteered to help! Full Photo Album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XF2yUBYJ6GqBYBmeA

Wow, it has been tough keeping up with all the things happening in Troop 2319 lately, if you’re like me and need a recap, Cameron D. lead his fellow scouts in executing his Eagle Project the weekend before last. The goal was to build six additional benches for Unity North Atlanta and it looks like Cameron did a fantastic job leading is fellow scouts to accomplish his goal. But don’t take my word for it, click the image below to see the full album of photos form the project!
